Offered for sale is an antique American Waltham pocket watch, featuring the respected Grade No. 620 movement, housed in a Fahys “Montauk” 20-Year guaranteed gold-filled case. Year of Production: 1907. Jewels: 15 Jewel, screw-set. Movement Finish: Nickel with black inlay accents. Plate Style: Bridge plate, center bridge. This is a desirable early-20th-century Waltham movement, well regarded for durability and parts availability. Material: 14K Gold Filled. Case Type: Open face. Engraving: Light decorative engraving on back (see photos). The watch will run briefly with assistance, however it does not stay running consistently and does not appear to fully oscillate. It will require servicing to be fully operational. ? Dial & Hands. White enamel dial signed. Sub-seconds at 6 o’clock. Dial shows age-appropriate wear consistent with use. Very nice, running antique watch. Clean crystal and dial along with a very ornate gold case. Case is embossed with stars or starfish on the back cover with flowing scrollwork around the dial rim. Very slight wear on the back body of the watch, it is in great condition for its age.
