This very ornate antique pocket watch is in excellent condition, it runs and keeps accurate time. The case shows very little wear. The lid pops up nicely when the crown is pressed. The case snaps shut perfectly. This watch is about 127 years old. The diameter of the case is 1 11/16 inches. The seven jewel movement is marked AMERICAN WALTHAM WATCH CO. The movement is engraved with ornate designs. The porcelain dial is in perfect condition, no cracks or chips. This is an especially ornate watch in amazing condition. For sale is a Jules Jergensen Copenhagen Pocket Watch. This is one absolutely stunning pocket watch. This watch has been previously owned, but is running great. We had this watch serviced just before listing the watch. The watch was cleaned and lubricated. All functions are working as intended. This watch is free of any aftermarket engravings. All marks on this watch are those which came from the factory. This watch features a full hunter case composed of 18kt yellow gold. The exterior of the case has the factory machine turned finish though it is slightly faded. The pattern is still clearly visible. The Inside of the back of the case reads: “K18 JJ 11260″ The exterior of the Dust Cover reads: “S 11260 Jules Jurgensen Copenhagen Patent 1867 January 15″ The inside of the dust cover has a black marker writing from the watch maker that serviced this pocket watch. The Movement is the Jules Jurgensen Movement and is also signed and has the matching serial number, 11260. The crystal of this watch is free of any imperfections. The dial of this watch is enameled and is in incredible shape. There are no cracks or imperfections. ANTIQUE 1877 ELGIN 13J SIZE 8S 18K YELLOW GOLD HUNTING CASE EXCELLENT CONDITION. Description : This listing is for a beautiful Elgin pocket watch. The watch features a 13 jewel size 8s lever set movement and is housed in an engined turned 18k solid yellow gold hunting case with elaborate details. The front cover has a shield for a monogram which has not been used. The watch has a white dial with black roman numerals and a subsidiary second hand dial. The watch has an early serial number and dates the watch to approximately 1877. Weight : 68.4 grams. Condition : Very fine estate condition. Dial has two hairline cracks running from the subsidiary second hand dial as well as some light dirt. The case is in spectacular condition for a watch that is nearly 140 years old. It has only minor scratches and scuffs, much of which is hidden by the elaborate detailing on the case. The case is free of dents. The latch to release the front cover doesn’t always release easily when the stem is pressed. The watch winds smoothly and is running but has not been timed for accuracy.
