Antique Pair Cased Verge Champleve Dial Pocket Watch. Signed Ewd Bayley, London, circa 1740. Gilt fusee movement signed and numbered 105, square baluster pillars, silver champleve dial with Roman and Arabic numerals signed John Ballard (probably the first owner), arcaded minute track, beetle and poker hands. Both cases with maker’s mark GB for George Bruvet & a Lion for sterling silver. Inner case numbered 105, 49mm wide see Photo’s. Both cases with small surface scratches, outer case has minor dents, outer case bezel is slightly springing when closed. The watch has a Later glass, dial with small scratches, winding smoothly, movement in going order. As with all vintage watches, no claims are made regarding accuracy of time keeping. The movement in this watch is in especially bright and clean condition – see photos. The original silver-tone dial is in beautiful condition as well. The crystal is in very good condition, with only minor surface scratches. This watch winds and sets smoothly. It is in non-running condition because of a broken balance staff. I comply with U. This is a nice antique Columbus pocket watch from a local estate. It is 18 size, hunter model, stem wind, lever set, serial #33434. The movement is gilt, jeweled, and is a stem wind / key wind transition model. The watch is running strong, but has not been cleaned or serviced. So , I cannot guarantee it to be a reliable timekeeper. The porcelain dial is marked H. Not sure if this was a retail jeweler, or perhaps a railroad inspector. The dial has some fine hairlines. The case is very nice. It is yellow gold filled, and high quality. It carries the Keystone scales case mark. The case has good hinges and case springs. It is chased with designs and florals on both sides. The case is not dented, and not brassed. This is overall and excellent watch. Rare and unique Swiss made pocket watch OMEGA FULL HUNTER CASE made of solid silver and Nielo. The case is in well kept condition for its age, made of solid silver. This is a very nice vintage Hamilton railroad watch from a local estate. The movement is a 16 size model 992, stem wind, lever set, 21 jewels, gold center wheel. The movement is marked 992, and also ELINVAR on the pallet bridge. The movement runs strong and is in excellent condition. It has clean plates, full gold lettering, and the screw heads are clean and not damaged. I have not had this piece cleaned or serviced, so I cannot guarantee it to be a perfectly reliable timekeeper. The porcelain dial has bold black numbers, and is excellent. It has no hairlines and no chips. A truly great and desirable dial. Blued steel hands (hands show some wear). The case is 2-tone, with a yellow gold filled center, and silver metal bezel and case back. The case back is marked Wadsworth, and also with a Hamilton serial numbers (starts with H). The case is in excellent condition, with no dents or damage, and no engraving.
