Some signs of use and age but overall in good condition. Watch came from a large collectors estate and looks to be well cared for. Crown works as it should. Dial does have a crack around the II index-see pics. See pics and video for exact item.

Offered for sale is an antique Elgin National Watch Co. Pocket watch, made in USA ca. This is a 16-size watch, and measures approximately 50mm (2) diameter. This watch features a yellow gold filled hunting case with an engine turned design and a blank cartouche on the front, a 17-jewel Grade 386 stem-wind stem-set movement, and comes with a white double sunk dial with black Arabic numerals and b lue steel spade hands. The case is in very good condition, showing signs of normal pocket carry and some very light brassing (not noticeable unless you look very closely). The dial is in excellent condition, showing no visible cracks or chips. The movement runs and keeps excellent time. Runs but stops after a few seconds. The crown is stuck and doesn’t move hands. With scuffs and scratches. Not tested – Case symbol indicates it is 14K/8K according to the pocket watch database. Apx 60gr total weight (see photos). Case is apx 42mm (excluding the crown).

This vintage Elgin pocket watch is a stunning addition to any collection. Gorgeous design with a picked fence area and doves or some type of bird. With a yellow gold filled case and white enameled dial, it exudes elegance and style. The watch features a double hunter closure, snap caseback, and a lever escapement. The watch has I believe 17 jewels and a mechanical (manual) movement but is missing the crystal. It also has a seconds hand and a 12-hour dial. This pocket watch is a true gem from the 1910s and is sure to impress any watch enthusiast.

On the inside of the back cover there is a lot of lightly scratch marks-notes as shown. Watch is in working order but timing may be necessary. Serial number dates it to approx. 1878 and it is marked ass then Advance model as pictured. It is 11 jewel m model 1, grade 13, class 5. Case Material– Coin Silver. Movement Type–Manual Wind – key wind and set. Dial Condition– Very nice with slight age use imperfection as pictured. Great original hands as shown. Case Condition– Nice with imperfections -see above and a slight ding as pictured. Case Size– see above. Special Features — Massive size! Comes with a non-original winding key as shown. Elgin, high-grade father Time 21 Jewel railroad grade antique pocket watch in a beautiful 10 karat gold filled Keystone case. Watch is in good running order with good motion and seems to keep time, but I have not checked it over a long period. Movement is a beautifully finished and highly Damascened movement with gilt lettering. Movement features a gold train, jewel settings, and timing screws and is adjusted to five positions. Case is a very nice Keystone 10 karat gold filled screw back and bezel case, But does have an inscription engraved on the back. Sharp detail to engraving. Dial is the original double sunk bold Arabic Elgin dial and looks great, but has a chip near the second spot. Watch winds and sets correctly. Please see pictures for more information and condition.

This antique Elgin pocket watch from 1903 is a stunning piece that comes with its original wooden case. The watch has a beautiful white dial with Arabic numerals and a 12-hour dial. The watch features a mechanical (manual) movement with 7 jewels and a seconds hand. The gold-filled case is in great condition and has a yellow gold color. The watch is a a mid size pocket watch suitable for anyone and has somewhat of has a dress/formal style. The model number is Philadelphia warranted case co 4011450, Elgin National Watch Co 9870464 dated 1903, and it was manufactured in the United States. It is a great addition to any watch collection. This watch comes in the original wooden case. The inside dedication reads as follows. On her 49th Birthday. The watch is in running condition, however, accuracy is unlikely as with all watches of this nature and age. It has a wind up mechanism and is set also the same way.
