This is an American Waltham pocket watch from the 1883 model, featuring a yellow gold filled full hunter case in size 18. It has a fancy white, pink blue dial with a seconds hand and a 12-hour dial. The watch has a mechanical (manual) movement with 7 jewels. The caseback is a snap closure, and it is a vintage luxury piece with a Waltham brand signature. Watch is currently running untested for accuracy and with no service records. Assume it will need service. The outer gold filled carved case features amazing craftsmanship as shown in pics. Top crown area has some gold wear as expected from normal use. Inner case covers have not been polished all kept as original.

Majority of Buhre watches have that inscription done in Italic font (a stylized calligraphic handwriting). The firm was granted the title of Imperial Court Supplier in 1899.
