The watch is running and keeping good time. The dial is marked as seen in the pictures and in very nice overall condition as seen in the pictures. The dial is a later replacement dial. The beveled glass crystal is in very nice condition. The movement is marked as seen in the pictures and is pendent wind and lever set. The movement has a couple of light surface scratches that can be seen in the pictures. The case is marked on inside. The case has light surface scratches, tiny nick, dings. We have tested this watch sitting on our desk for the past day and it has kept good time within one minute per day. We make every attempt to describe our items as accurately as we are able. Movement: serial number 470207, Grade. Model 1, 21 jewels, Size 16. Stem wind and level set. Adjusted to 5 Positions &. Dial: White Porcelain, double sunken dial, some hairlines, no chips. Crystal is in good condition. Case: gold filled open face case. The bow is nice and tight. The movement hinges open to able to see the back of the movement. There is tape on the edge of the movement to ensure a tight fit when the movement is closed. The case shows pocket wear with many worn areas on the edge of the case. Front cover screws on and off. Cover must be correctly aligned to be screwed on. Effort is needed to screw the cover to a good seal. Inside of back cover: It says, “Wadsworth Referee Waranted 20 Years”. This is a very nice South Bend 21j Studebaker adj. 8 positions with a beautiful Montgomery metal dial. The movement is very clean with no signs of abuse. The case is a Nawco 10 yr. Gold filled case with a fraternal symbol with the letters F C B. It shows only a very light ring of wear on the edge of frame and on the bow and crown. The thick beveled crystal shows some light scratching. The watch is in very nice condition and running fine. I don’t know when it was last serviced so no guarantee to accuracy or extended run time.
