1857 London Assay Sterling Pocket Key Winding Watch Case by James Oliver. I’ve had this pocket watch for a couple years now and now it’s time to let go of it. It does have damages to the dial wear and tear it is well over a hundred years old it’s missing it does not include a key however I have one that fits it and was able to wind it. Inside the lid is the stamp C. On the front lid is nice floral enamel work with the engraved initials. The back has geometric enamel design with a diamond in the center. The entire case is heavily work. I just had this watch serviced and it works great! It weighs 39.7 grams with the movement. It measures approximately 1 7/16 x 1 7/8 (does not include ring). The only issue I could see was some minor enamel loss on the cover. It does not take anything away from this beautiful watch. My home has always been a non-smoking home. All items have a.
