Pocket Watch Case

Hamilton Grade 992 Railroad pocket watch in very good running condition. 1919 estimated production year. 16 size, 21 Jewel, engraved railroad on backside of case very nice condition, double sunk enamel dial with hands and crystal all in very good condition.

Brand: Elgin National Watch Co. Year of Manufacture: 1909 (based on serial #14146960). Movement: Mechanical (Manual Wind) 15 Jewels. Case: Gold Filled “Cyclone” (10-year guarantee). Dial: White porcelain with Arabic numerals and sub-second dial. A beautiful piece of American history. The mechanical movement is elegantly engraved and features 15 jewels. The gold-filled case shows a stunning sunburst-style engraving on the back. The porcelain dial has a classic vintage look, though it shows some honest hairline cracks consistent with its age (over 110 years old). > “Glass (Crystal):” The front glass has a small chip, which is visible in the photos. Also, please note that the glass crystal is loose and may come off when the front bezel is opened. > “Technical Issue:” the watch needs a professional service. When you try to wind it, the hands rotate instead of winding the spring. The box is not original. Please examine all photos closely, as they are part of the description.
