Pocket Watch Case

Elgin early key wind key set antique pocket watch. Movement is an unusual movement that it is a Keywind movement that is made of nickel or half nickel. Grade 87 model 1 made an 1881. Watch is well over 140 years old. Watch Runs but I have not checked it for time keeping. Dial is a nice original glass enamel dial that is in very good condition. Nice snap back and bezel nickel silver original case. Movement serial number 877370. Watch is fully jeweled on the back plate and I believe it’s an 11 jewel watch. This will make a nice watch for the Elgin collector or for a Civil War reenactor. Please see pictures for more information and condition. I can only find 2 flaws. The dial has at least 6 hairlines. The back display cover is set and fits perfect but is not cemented. When I had the cover removed for the pictures it popped out when I was cleaning it to rethread. It did snap back in correctly. The watch sets and winds properly. It runs and keeps time.
