1915 Burlington 17j Gold Filled Hunting Case Grade 37 Pocket Watch – Working. Watch has a beautiful engraving on front and back and is in working condition. Watch runs a little slow, will need adjustment or servicing. There is a hairline crack on the dial between the 11 and 12 as well as some other wear around the second hand. Antique 1920 Illinois Grade 305 17J 16s 14k Solid Gold Hunter Case Pocket Watch. 17 Jewel Grade 305 Model 6 Movement. Diameter 48.9 mm. Double sunk white enamel dial with A. Rabic numerals and outer red 5-minute markers. 14k solid gold, engine turned and engraved hunting case. Total weight: 83.53 grams. MOVEMENT : When fully wound and placed on a timegrapher in the dial up position for one minute it shows the watch gaining approximately +3 seconds per day. Fine scratches on plates. Specs of oxide on steelwork. A bit dirty and could use a cleaning. CASE : Shallow dents on front and back. Cuvette has several creases. Very fine scratches on inner and outer surfaces of case. Light wear to engraving detail. Moderate wear to crown. CRYSTAL : Plastic crystal has some small scratches. DIAL : Numerous hairlines with most visible near 3 and 8. Small chip at edge concealed by bezel. HANDS : Inconsistent bluing on minute hand. Seconds hand has been replaced. 17.5, 39.0, 58.0. 18.0, 53.0. VINTAGE POCKET WATCH Brand. ESTATE FIND, RUNS GOOD. 16 size, open face but SWISS MADE, probably for USA & Canadian market. Nice damaskeened finish on movement, shape reminds me of Longines. Movement looks clean, sets good, runs good. Service history unknown, not serviced y us, reliability & accuracy not guaranteed. Fortune 10K gold filled. Slight wear or brassing on sides, near cover & bezel. Front bezel screws good, as for the back cover. Measures about 50 mm wide, by 64 mm tall, including crown, by 15 mm thick. (Roughly 2″ wide by 2.5″ tall by 0.6 thick). This is an acrylic crystal that could be buffed. Tiny scratches as it is, but acceptable. 43.3 mm diameter. Has two dial repairs (chips painted white) 4 minutes & 45 minutes. All original three blue spade hands are there in very good condition. TOTAL WEIGHT OF WATCH: 87 grams.
