CENTER SECONDS CHRONOGRAPH POCKET WATCH. Retired watch collector’s find: Newsome & Co. Coventry Made in England in 1890s for H. STONE, LEEDS Antique FUSEE chain driven movement (key wind, key set). Serial numer 116021 Unable to wind with the repro key shown. Measurements needed are shown on paper. Chain is in a separate bag. Broken spring in a bag, don’t know if a new spring is in the watch. The 51 mm double sunk porcelain dial is in decent condition (one hairline between XI and XII). It has some kind of side button (push or slide). Measures 61 x 72 x 19 mm, 183 grams total. Watchmaker wrote a note in the box (translated from French): “Have to replace fusee’s hook rivet to steel instead of brass; have to put a hook on the barrel”. Heavy attractive 6 Size Multicolored Case With mine cut Diamond. A very attractive Elgin Hunter Case Pocket Watch. A very nice condition multicolored ladies 6 size Elgin Pocket Watch. Case has nice multi color that is still very sharp in multiple colors of raised gold on case. Case has a fairly good-sized I believe mine cut diamond on the back. Case is a 20 year Philadelphia Watch case company case and opens and closes well case has no brass and is in nice shape. Movement is a 15 Jewel Elgin that runs great but does not want to set so will need some servicing. Nice porcelain dial has a faint hairline. Nicely Damaskeening Nickel Movement.
