This is an excellent Hamilton 16 size 21 jewel adjusted 992B pocket watch in a Hamilton/Keystone 10k gold filled case out of an estate! The lever-set movement is marked: Hamilton Watch Co. 992B 21 Jewels Adj. And 6 Positions C228815. As of listing it, the watch is running, and smooth to wind/set. We do not know the service history and recommend it be serviced. The dial is marked Hamilton Railway Special. The dial is in fair condition, there are some cracks in the finish – see photos. The original glass crystal has been replaced with a plastic one at some point. The case is in great condition, showing only light scratches. Antique Silver 18th Century Georgian Verge Fusee Pair Cased Pocket Watch. This watch was made in the mid 18th century in England the movement is signed J Moore London and has square pillars and lovely engraving. Unusually the movement balance and table are made of solid silver rather than brass. Although you do see them they are incredibly rare especially for the whole movement to be in silver normally its just the balance cock not the rest and even they are uncommon. The watch is all original and has got its original outer case that has matching hallmarks. The original dial has got a bit of damage at the bottom and a few hairline cracks as can be seen in the photos. The dial also has its original beetle and poker hands which is a nice feature. The watch is in working order and appears to have been recently serviced however as it is 250 years old I can give no guarantee. A key will only be provided at buyers request. A GOOD, ANTIQUE GENT’S GOLD PLATED LIMIT SWISS MADE HUNTER CASED POCKET WATCH. A very good quality. Gentleman’s Gold Plated, Swiss made, Hunter Cased Pocket Watch. This watch is a very nice example, in great condition and very good working order. The English made, gold plated hunter case is in very good condition, although it does have some minor indents. It is stamped with the case maker’s trade mark “ALD” for the Dennison Watch Case Company. The white enamel dial is in excellent condition, it has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o’clock. It is signed by the maker Limit No. The good quality, Swiss made movement is in very good working order, running well, winds smoothly and sets as it should. It is signed by the maker. Silver pair cased pocket watch, champleve dial – Cleeter, London, c1705. Silver pair cases, 57 mm. A large, early English verge with original champleve dial, in silver pair cases. MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, the engraved and pierced winged balance cock with wide D shaped foot and engraved mask. Four crested Egyptian pillars and large silver regulator disk. In good condition and working. DIAL : Silver champleve dial, in very good condition. Signed CLEETER, LONDON on the central disc, below a winged cherub and two birds to the sides. Good early 18th century steel beetle and poker hands. INNER CASE : Silver, with no hallmarks, but makers mark RB. In good condition, though the pendant has been reattached and the hinge sleeves are worn (one broken). However the hinge is still strong and the bezel snaps shut correctly. The high dome bulls eye crystal has just one small chip, right on the bezel at 9. OUTER CASE : Silver pair case, with matching makers mark to the inner. In good condition throughout, with just a few very small dents and a short slit at the stem. The hinge, catch button and catch are fine and the case closes correctly. William Cleeter is listed in London from 1700, and in the Clockmakers Company in 1709. The case maker is probably Richard Blundell.
