Insert Item Description Here. I do not know a lot about pocket watches but I will include what research I have done. Waltham or American Waltham Watch Co. (A. W. W. Co) manufactured this Hunter style pocket watch between April and September of 1888. It is considered a model 1889 which there were around 1,500 manufactured. It either contains 13 jewels or 15 jewels. This is not stated on the movement but see below a research note pertaining to the possible change. Waltham Serial Ledgers designate this run as B. Gr” (B, William Ellery Grade) with “3 prs. Of jewels (13 Jewels). However, #3551224 has been verified as a Nickel, Model 1889 Movement Marked American Waltham Watch Co. The case is a Waltham case stated as “Coin” which seems to be coin silver. Cases manufactured in the United States has a coin silver content approximately 90% silver and European cases are approximately 80% silver. The crystal has been removed or broken out of the bezel so it would need to be replaced. This watch is a lever movement setting which means there is a tiny arm next to the face that swings out to allow to adjust the time. NOT by pulling on the crown. CYMA Retro Art Deco Tank-Styled Watch, Rare 900 Silver Case, Original Velvet Box. This is a rare find CYMA retro tank-styled wristwatch, originally intended for men but is more unisex today. Most tank-styled Cyma are gold-plated or in stainless steel, but this one has an original 900 Silver case. At 26.5 mm wide (not counting the crown), this is also a larger watch than the mid-century retro art deco watches (usually only 22 mm wide). The dial is in beautiful matte silver finish, with calligraphy printed Arabic numerals, a second sub-dial, and cathedral hands. The watch has a 17 jewels Cyma hand-winding movement that has been tested to be keeping good time. The condition of this watch is excellent – only usual minor buffs that are hardly noticeable at all. The 900 Silver case will tend to tarnish over time and need some wiping with a silver polishing cloth occasionally. The watch is still kept in its original Cyma velvet watch box with tag attached. The Cyma Tavannes brand was ultra popular in the 1950′s and 60′s. This is an Elgin 16 size 15 jewel open face pocket watch. The case is 10k gold plated and is in very nice condition. The ornate designs on the case are very sharp, shows no signs of use. The dial has no hairlines but has some damage by the 7 second marker. This appears to be a chip that someone attempted to repair. Other than that imperfection the dial is clean. The case hides the chip so it is not noticeable. Movement is very clean and runs well. Case lids screw nicely. A Very nice Sterling Silver pair case verge fusee Pocket watch. With champlevé dial, made arround 1700 by the watchmaker. The beautiful movement with Egyptian pillars winds smoothly and runs with. A great motion in all positions, keeps reasonable time for a more than. 300 year old verge watch, the movement is signed J. The watch has a beautiful pierced Champlevé dial, also signed: J. The crystal glass is mint, nos. The Sterling silver cases are both in a reasonable condition considering there age. All covers closing nice and tight, both cases have many small dents, user marks. Small Antique Silver Pair Cased Verge Pocket Watch. Signed Geo Taylor London 1782. Needs some work, not presently working but complete. Complete with winding key. The gilt fusee movement with verge escapement is signed and numbered 8969. With square baluster pillars. Enamel convex dial with Arabic and Roman numerals and. Steel beetle and poker hands, enclosed under a bulls eye, domed glass. Both cases with the London hallmark for 1782 and maker’s mark IR. The outer case is 50mm in diameter. In the back of the outer case are four watchmakers repair labels the earliest one dated 1830 from Lerwick in the Shetland Islands. It is marked for a Mr A Smith, North Docks August 2 1830. Bunn Special 2-Tone HC. 18 size 21 jewel hunting case lever-set Bunn Special pocket watch movement/dial/hands. Very nicely finished high grade movement with gold jewel settings, gold balance screws, and a 2-tone gold circular damaskeen pattern. This example is currently in need of some attention but is a great candidate for restoration as its movement 2-tone color remains beautiful. Watch is fronted by its correct double-sunk enamel Gothic numeral dial. Serial number is 1356953. Mainspring seems likely broken of slipped, and balance is gummy. Very nice looking movement overall with superb 2-tone color, though the regulator assembly and the visible movement screw heads have oxide. One case screw is missing. Dial is beautiful with just a few very mild flaws – a small flake tight to the left edge of the center section, an extremely faint hairline above the seconds-register, and a few scattered small surface scratches or nicks.
