Pocket Watch Case

It is a very nice vintage 80 years old “deco” pocketwatch made by Marvin, with a very nice decorated 18k solid gold case, made with yellow and white gold. Excellent mint condition overall, really beautiful, I rate it really mint, with no scratches, no dings or dents, just a bit of oxidation on the dial, due to age. The case diameter is 47.5mm, and total weight is 57 grams. The original dial has Breguet type arabic numerals, very elagant, and special index hands. Mechanic manual wind movement, the watch is in good working order, and it goes around 15/20 minutes fast a day, so it would need a setting if you want to use it. A beauty, MUST BE SEEN!!!!!! 1950′s buren watch Borgel Francois (F B) steel Case f1. The diameter of this watch without the crown is 28.5 mm case. The case is all stainless steel stamped F. Borgel staybright steel and the back screws on and of as it should. The lug width or strap size is 16 mm. The condition of the balance is. The balance staff is good and swings freely and the watch runs strongly and keeps time when wound. The original dial and hands are in good vintage condition. You have to hold out the crown when you set the hands. This watch comes with its original dust cover which has kept the movement in very good condition. The domed beveled mineral glass crystal is clean and clear. Overall, this is a very nice pocket watch with a very rare highly damaskeened 990 grade movement with the right dial and the right case. This is a very nice vintage Hamilton. It is 16 size, open face, stem wind, lever set, 21 jewel, grade 992B. Serial #C396577 dates it to 1953. The movement is very good and runs well. I have not had it cleaned or serviced, so I cannot guarantee it to be completely reliable. The yellow gold filled case is plain, and has no brassing or monograms. This is a massive pocket Watch which measures 76mm wide x 108mm long x 22mm deep. This a Swiss watch which was made for and retailed by the prestigious Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company in Regent Street, London. The watch comes with its original leather case, which stands upright and would stand on a desk. Movement the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and has an 8 day mainspring. The movement is in 95% mint condition. Case the movement comes in a white metal open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and bezel. The case has a mirror finish inside and around the inside the bezel. The rest of the case has a smooth plain finish and is in 85% mint condition a slightly matt dull finish which is normal for watches like these which have sat in a case for a while. They can be professionally polished up beautifully.
