Vintage 50.5mm Gold Filled Hunting Case 16S Illinois 19J Pocket Watch ca. This gold filled, 16 size, unknown grade Illinois pocket watch has a hunting case measuring approximately 50.5mm in diameter. The case is completely hand engraved with foliage, scroll like work, guilloche, lines and a plaque on one side for personalizing while the other depicts a windmill in a field. The case some very light dents near the hinge as pictured. The case overall is in great condition. The hinge works properly. The white enamel dial has large black numerals, a red five-minute track, a double sunk seconds register, blue moon hands and is marked “Illinois”. The dial is in overall great condition having just the start of a hairline, seen through the loupe, near 8 o’clock. The crystal is in great condition. The front inside case is stamped “10873703″. The inside back case is stamped “Dueber Special 10873703″. The dust is stamped “Dueber Warranted 25 Years”. The movement is stamped Illinois Watch Co. Springfield – Adjusted 3 Positions – Double Roller – 19 Jewels – 3772752. All screws and jewels are in great condition. Stem wind and set. This watch is running and keeping time.
