Up for sale is a beautiful antique Illinois Rail Road pocket watch that is all original except for the case. It is a Grade 89 and was made in 1913 as an unusual private label for The American Star in New York. It is size 18 and has a beautiful 21 jewel movement that is in excellent condition! It is in a beautifully decorated gold filled case, which is in very good condition. This is a really beautiful watch that runs great and keeps very good time! Movement : This watch runs great and keeps very good time. The very nice original 2-tone lever set movement has 21 jewels, adjusted to 3 positions. It is Rail Road grade and is in excellent condition. Dial : The original double sunk Montgomery dial is in good condition, with just a chip repair on the seconds dial, some flea bites and small hairline. Case : The beautifully decorated gold filled B & B case is in very good condition and the covers work as they should. This really beautiful watch is ready to display or carry! For Your attention great looking man’s wrist watch converted from pocket watch with high grade PATEK PHILIPPE & Co. Pocket watch chronometer movement. The movement was engraved by highly skilled jeweler. New stainless steel case with crystal back. Made for this wonderful movement. The diameter of the watch is 52 millimeters and 62 millimeters from lug to lug and 16 millimeters thick. Professionally restored black dial with golden Arabic numerals signed. PATEK PHILIPPE & Co, GENEVE. Is in perfect condition. Stem wind/pin set (Once the pin was pushed in, the crown could be turned to set the time) movement is. The serial number 106593. Ates this movement to the year of 1898. 15 jewels movement has wolf teeth winding gears. Counter poised ” moustache” lever, bimetallic compensating balance wheel with gold screws, Breguet overcoil balance spring. Watch is serviced and oiled and is in good working condition and keeps good time. The watch comes in a new wooden display box with a new 24 mm dark brown leather strap.
