Introducing Antique Verge Fusee London. Sterling Silver Pair Case Pocket watch w/ Chain & Fob. The movement is marked : D D Neveren , London , balance is ok (watch video). The watch been serviced and was working , but when I wind it and the chain released from the barrel , on the last picture is shown the hook is there on the chain just need to be placed. I can’t ask my watchmaker to do it again as He spend a lot of time in this watch already. Enameled Dial is free of hairlines. The silver chain is beautiful with four strings but twisted , also there is a few dings on the outer case. Few links are marked with lion passant for sterling silver. Near mint overall condition, good running order, great sound, Mother-of-Pearl inlaid box with top-silk. Description: Lomogo, a brand of Fabrique La Maisonette, registered in 1910 by Maurice Woog of La Chaux-de-Fonds, large 18K yellow gold hunting-cased minute-repeating chronograph pocket watch, 54mm, elaborate case with raised decoration in front, monogram, engraved flowers, frosted field, gold cuvette with medallion display and features, a small 1929 presentation engraved at the base of the cuvette. The minute repeater is push activated and has spin-ball governor, both patents of C. Barbezat-Baillot of the same town, granted in the 1890′s. The single chronograph is activated by push at 2 o’clock, the single button starting, stopping and returning. The gilt movement has 17 jewels, the repeat train not jeweled in this type. To repeat, one depresses the button fully, which winds the repeat spring, and upon release the watch strikes the hour on the lower toned gong, double-strikes the quarter on two gongs, and finishes with the minute on the high gong, all via two hammers striking on two superimposed gongs. The assembled watch weighs 70.7 dwt (109.9 g). The watch comes in its original superb mahogany fitted box with inlay on top, inner top-silk with Lomogo brand beneath arranged medallions, representing awards the company may have accumulated at various expositions. The box has chamber beneath the watch with additional mainspring and crystal. Condition: Inspected and freshly lubricated by yours truly, a full-time watch specialist since 1971. Good running order, near mint mechanism, perfect chronograph and repeat functions, lovely clear tone. The dial has crescent-shaped hairline shown in the photo. Hands are near mint. The case has crisp mint looks with hardly any wear, but I grade at near mint owing to a few small dings to the back along with microfine scratches, typical of a watch normally displayed with the decorative side up. The box has stunning interior with mint silk and velvet, while the outside shows light wear, rubbing, and small formative split. The order of grading terms I use is as follows: Pristine – Mint – Excellent – Fine – Fair – Poor. In addition I add more detail, so one can properly interpret the photos. Tiffany & Co Pocket Watch. Movement by Patek Philippe. This pocket watch is in excellent condition. The movement is fully functional and the hinged covers open/close and snap properly into place. The enamel dial appears to be in excellent condition although there is some lint and debris that we have not attempted to clean. Please note that although the dial appears to have no imperfections we can’t be certain unless the debris is removed from under the crystal and frankly we’d rather not get into opening the watch and attempting to clean it lest we damage it. The watch features a third, hinged cover which allows for the exhibition of the movement through an acrylic crystal. The front cover is monogrammed with the initials “LK”. The watch measures approx 41mm in diameter and has a size 15 ligne movement with lever escapement and a seconds subdial. The serial number is engraved on both the case and movement and is doubly signed by Tiffany & Co. A Patek Philippe “Extract from the Archives” accompanies this watch. This watch has come to us directly from the estate of it’s original owner and is the first time it’s being offered for sale to dealers, collectors, and the general public. We do not know the service history. We have found it to keep time well enough (variance of a couple of minutes a day) to sell as-is and it runs for about a day on a full wind although no warranties are implied.
