For your consideration is this original antique Elgin pocket watch in a beautifully engraved solid 18K gold full hunter case. The movement is marked serial number 450400, which was produced in 1876. Grade 53, Model 1, Class 48. This is a size 10 with 7 jewels. Key wind, 3/4 plate, going barrel, quick train, plain regulator. The case is marked K18 on the inside of the outer cover, and also marked A. Solid 18K gold case made by the American Waltham Company. The inside of the dust cover is also marked 18K with the matching serial number of 61113. The case is rather stunning and beautifully engraved. The front features a cupid with wings atop a floral decoration with a shield in the center. The back features a similarly engraved scene with cupid on the top, only this time there is a fine country home shown at center. Very clean and bright with full detail. Tough to find them in better condition. The watch weighs 70.7g on my gram scale. The case opens freely by pushing on top of the crown. The dial is clearly marked with the Elgin logo, and the porcelain is in EX condition with no chips or cracks. All hands are present, and the crystal is also in EX condition with only very fine marks. The watch winds and sets easily, and has been keeping time and running well. No key is included but replacements can easily be found. Really a beautiful example in fine working condition! For your consideration is this original vintage Illinois 60 Hour Bunn Special pocket watch by the Springfield Watch Co. This is the Type III version of the watch, produced around 1929. It is a size 16 with 23 jewels. Lever set with 60 hr motor and 6 adjusted positions. True railroad grade pocket watch. Fantastic double sunk enamel dial. The dial is marked Illinois Bunn Special, and then marked 23 Jewel 60 Hour over the seconds dial. The dial is in EX condition with no chips or cracks. The crystal is celluloid or plastic and has yellowed a bit. Would benefit from a cleaning or would probably shine much brighter with a new piece of glass. The case is an Illinois Bunn Special Model #173 J Boss Keystone Watch Case. Marked as 14K Gold Filled. Two tone case with the covers being white gold and the main part being yellow gold filled. The movement is marked as serial No 5240307. Winds easily and keeps accurate time when I tested it for the full day before listing it. The movement is very clean and shows no wear or damage. NORTON London sterling silver pair cased verge fusee pocket watch in good condition – WITH DATE / CALENDAR FUNCTION. Both cases of the watch are in good condition. Some little scratches, some little dents can be found, but overall if you keep this watch in your hand you see an antique timepiece to fell in love with. On the outer caseback are engravings. Both case has London silver hallmarks, and there is George III mark as well. The hallmarks are a little hard to see, but clearly there, and 100% original. The movement is a verge fusee movement , and is all original. It has been taken apart, completely cleaned , and set together. It has the original chain too. PLEASE NOTE : The movement stops from time to time! It has been taken apart, and set together again, but somehow it stops. After you move it a little or shake it, it runs again.
