THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL NICKEL LIFT OUT CASE with THE TRAIN ENGRAVED ON BACK IS VERY NICE – EXTRA SHINY – IN VERY GOOD CONDITION – EXCEPT HAS TWO TINY DENTS NEAR THE BOTTOM OF THE EDGE FROM USED – COVER SCREW ON AND OFF EASILY. THE MOVEMENT READS : OMEGA # 3829859. THIS IS STEM WIND AND STEM SET 7 JEWELS NICKEL MOVEMENT , THE MOVEMENT IS ALL ORIGINAL , IT HAS BEEN CLEANED, OILED AND ADJUSTED RUNNING WELL. THE ORIGINAL CERAMIC PORCELAIN DIAL WITH LARGE ARABIC NUMERALS ARE VERY BEAUTY IN EXCELLENT. CONDITION – NO HAIRLINE – NO CHIP – IT MARKED : OMEGA. Beautiful Large Solid and super clean English made by George Clarke of London, Serial no. 7495 Silver pair cased verge fusee. Sharp Solid sterling silver case is Silver hall marked (d) 1819 of London assay. Beautiful Outstanding condition, off white colored porcelain dial with nice Bold Roman numerals and large sub seconds dial. Beautiful solid Gold colored hands. The dial shows just some light spider lines otherwise is truly beautiful. Absolutely spotless high domed bulls eye crystal. All case covers open, close and fit perfect together with nice and tight hinges. Key wind and key set pocket watch runs full length of chain. Balance has beautiful motion. The balance bridge is beautiful With its unique face and ornate scroll work. The movement is super clean with bright blue screws and a push arrow index for regulating. Pocket watch has a perfect fitting dust cover and a functioning stop/start switch. The watch measures approx. 58mm excluding the bow. Pocket watch runs outstanding and keeps great fusee time, last checked about +/- 3 or 4 minutes within approx. 24 hour period hanging from a hook in the vertical position…….. But cannot guarantee accuracy upon sale. These watches are verge type. Meant to keep time, not perfect time 197 years ago. Also special care must be taken not to overwind these old museum pieces and always remember to wind counter clockwise. Inside the case is an old watch makers paper from Louth England. Watch is listed in the Watch and Clock makers of the world book as Clarke, George James London a. Watch comes with a sharp watch makers key for winding.
