Movement is in Very Clean Overall Shape. Chip to dial between 7 and 8. Watch Winds and sets as intended. The case back is very difficult to install it needs to be threaded back on caefully. 1921 Illinois Sangamo Special, 17s, 23j, in excellent condition. Factory Original 14k Gold Filled Sangamo Special Case, in excellent condition with no dents, dings, or brassing, only very minimal sign of wear (light surface scratches). Hinged front bezel snaps tight and true, the hinge is perfect too. Does need a new crystal. Arrows Out dial is near mint condition. Hands are matching and correct, great condition. Rear bezel threads on and off as smooth as butter, perfect. Bow, pendant, and crown are all perfect! Bow hold any position, Crown has beautiful fluting. Winds up as smoothly as true as possible. Lever set has perfect movement and swing. Balance has a perfectly straight and wide arc. This one will not let you down. Pictures dont do it justice. Vintage 16 size 21 Jewel Illinois 60hr Bunn in signed Bunn case. Nice example running and setting fine. Double sunk dial looks great. Case is in nice condition and would benefit from a light polishing. Service history is unknown. Please note that vintage watches will all show signs of wear and tear and condition is never perfect. Many of these watches are older than me and that’s pretty old. Time keeping may be close but adjustments or service might be needed to provide super accurate time keeping. If you are looking for unblemished examples of watches that keep perfect time you may need a new Casio. I will always point out obvious defects but I wont catch everything. This listing is for a. Motor Barrel 18 size in a drop dead killer of a case. Some jeweler has engraved KANSAS CITY SOUTHERN LINES on the back of this Crescent swing-ring case. The swing-ring cases were favorites of the railroad men. The serial # 624,442 dates this to 1907. The dial has an old filled chip below the 30 minute marker with some hairlines, and another hairline at the two minute marker. The chip cannot be seen with the bezel in place. I installed a new glass crystal in the case, and also installed a new hour and minute hand from my Hamilton cabinet. This watch is a great runner, and keeps accurate time, but Im sure it is due for a service. The engraved case will make this a gem in any RR watch collection, even yours.
