Working Antique 1891 Waltham Grade J Gold Filled Pocket Watch. Runs healthy and strong! Loses about 4 minutes a day. Never really heard of that before. 7 jewel model 1889 movement. Bail looks to be solid gold. See photos for condition. Crystal is free of scratches/cracks. Dial is in pristine condition. Gold fill is completely intact. It was sent back and I rebanked it. This is a working, late 19th century 15 jewel pocket watch cased in an. 800 silver open face watchcase. The hallmarks are Swiss, but as the silver standard in Germany is. 800, it was probably intended for the continental market. The overall size is 49mm, it is a pin set movement with pendant winding. Listed is one of the more beautiful watches in this collection. It runs very well, but as all of these watches they have been in storage for over years 50 years and will need oiling and cleaning. This watch back covering the watch works is glass. The fob is beautiful with an oynx on one side and a polished agate on the other side. An absolutely beautiful watch for any occasion.
