Antique Rockford Pocket Watch Wadsworth Case Fancy Dial 17 Jewels Size 18s. The watch is in very good working condition, keeps good time. The case in in very good condition, could use some cleaning and the hinge of the back cover is a little loose. The inner back cover is engraved with a name as pictured. Rockford serial number: 798344. When I entered this into an online database, it provided the following information. Estimated Production Year: 1910. The various markings on the watch are as follows. Inside front cover: 1515234 (I believe this to be the Wadsworth serial number). Inside back cover: 1515234. Outside of inner back cover: Engraved “Robert Carlson”. Inside of inner back cover: “Wadsworth Warranted 20 Years”. Inside of inner back cover: P172. Inside of inner back cover: in VERY small lettering FB. 48 GM OCT. Back of works: Rockford Watch Co Adjusted 17 Jewels 798344. There is also the number “A5234″ on the casing around the back of the works – I do not know what this signifies.
