Crystal looks clear with some pocket scratches. The Stellar Case with gorges Ornate engraving back cover, there are no dings, or dents, just faint pocket scratches, the bow and crown looks excellent and the bow is nice and firm. Good condition light surface scratches commensurate with age and some very minor edge “nibbles” to rear cover. Original dial in great condition, no hairline cracks or chips. Blued steel hands, Arabic numbers, red outer minutes. The Vanguard movement is in fantastic condition, running well and keeping good time (within 1 minute per 24 hours). Gold lettering, gold center wheel, gold jewel holders. Crown set and wind. Serviced including modern “unbreakable” alloy mainspring. Great for wedding, graduation, retirement, Christmas, Fathers day or birthday present. A very nice piece. Recently Fully Serviced, including modern alloy ” unbreakable ” mainspring. Professionally converted from lever set to crown set. Servicing is defined as the piece being disassembled, cleaned, inspected and adjusted if necessary. It is then re-assembled and correctly oiled, timed for accuracy and adjusted if required. The mainspring will be replaced with a modern alloy type and the piece will be bench-tested for at least one day. I restore all of my watches to a fully working condition. It is my aim to provide a watch that is not only running but working to a usable state. My watches can be worn and used for their intended purpose on a daily basis. The time keeping should certainly be within +- 5 minutes per 24 hours but I aim for +-3 or better. My highly detailed photographs show the watch in detail, this level of detail is not normally seen by the naked eye.
