Philadelphia 58.7 x 85 mm 18-Size Silverode Antique Pocket Watch Case with Deer / Stag Motif. This pocket watch case measures approximately 58.7 mm in diameter and 85 mm in total length including the bow. It has a gold filled deer / stag motif on the back cover and is notched for a lever at 2 – see photos. The inside case back is signed PHILADELPHIA WATCH CASE CO. SILVERODE 7021 – see photos. It is in very good condition overall with normal wear and some characteristic wear of the gold filled layer of the deer / stag motif on the back cover – see photos. The crystal is in good used condition; all covers close as they should with no prominent gaps – see photos. Imposed by your country of residence. The watch is wound too tight. The case measures 54.7mm wide. The back case cover has a Stag engraved on it (see picture 2). The case shows wear and has some tarnish. The dial is marked Hampden Watch Co. There is a crack between the 5 and 6 o’clock positions (see picture 5). The inside of the front and back covers are marked Warranted 14k E. Co which makes this case a gold filled case. The inside of the movement cover is marked with a flag with a star in the center of it. The movement is marked Dueber Grand, Canton, Ohio, 17 Jewels. These 18s engraved cases are as prevalent as they once were, so don’t miss out. This is a 3 pc. Case, NOT a swing-ring. It is a good case, it functions as it should, it is very clean and heavy at almost 100 grams. The Crown can also be pulled up to accommodate Pendant Set movements.
