Up for sale is a beautiful antique 14s Waltham model 1884 Chronograph pocket watch. It was made in 1886 and is all original. This watch was serviced and runs very well. Serviced : This watch was serviced on 07-21-19. All parts were removed, cleaned, oiled, and the watch was adjusted to keep good time. Movement : This watch runs great and keeps very good time. The beautiful Chronograph movement is in very good condition. It has 13 jewels, the original balance wheel, and all matching serial numbers! Dial : The original Waltham dial is in nice condition. I see one hairline. Case : The beautiful original gold filled hunter case is in good condition. The covers open and close as they should. The case has the chronograph button on the side (which I like). This beautiful watch is ready to display or carry! I will include a key. Please read the detailed description and if in any doubt, ask questions. Super Elgin 18s Pocket Watch 20495315 (1918) Coin Silver Case Serviced and in Excellent Working Order. A very good 7-jewel Elgin pocket watch with the more unusual black dial, in a chunky coin silver dustproof swing-out case, serviced a few years ago and in very good working order. The dial is marked Elgin USA and is in very good condition (see photos). All hands are present and in good order. The case is coin silver and marked Coin on the inside. It is the dust-proof swing-out variety to access the movement, lift the crown to the setting position, unscrew the bezel, and carefully lift up the movement in its swing-ring by inserting a thumbnail in the little slot at the base. The case is in excellent condition, about 57mm in diameter and the acrylic crystal is new. The movement is a normal Elgin 7-jewel and is in very good order very clean and it winds, runs and sets very well keeping good time. My notes indicate I had this watch professionally serviced a few years ago. It carries the serial number 20495315 which dates it to 1918. A truly superb Elgin pocket watch in excellent cosmetic condition and very good running order. Priced realistically sell, probably on the low side if anything, and although I have allowed for a best offer facility, offers would need to be very close to the asking price to even be considered. I probably wont consider offers at all. Alternatively, collection is possible at a mutually convenient date and time from Shrivenham, just east of Swindon, Wiltshire. SUPERB and HEAVY VERGE FUSEE Pocket Watch. Recently fully serviced and in great working condition! Runs the full length of the chain with a hard sounding tick and keeping very well verge time deviation per 24 hours runtime only a few minutes – WOW!!!! The movement shines like it was made yesterday, is signed “Thoms Leadbeater” from Sandbach and bears the serial number 911. Nice old original hands i think they are of gold or gold gilded? All covers open and close with a tight fit as it should. Enamel dial with arabic numerals in a very good condition! Old glass looks perfect! Both cases have indentical hallmarks for Birmingham, letter C for 1826. Cases are solid sterling silver, hand polished and looking great. Nice blue stone as opening button outer case (see pictures). Original old watchpaper and fitting key are included. A superb addition to each valuable collection. Dimensions: diameter without crown 55 mm and a very heavy 147 grams! European countries 16 GBP. The movement shines like it was made yesterday, is signed “Thomas Knight” from Stone and bears the early serial number 267. Nice old original blue steel hands. All covers open and close with a tight fit as it should. Enamel dial with name “George Ollivants” on it in a very good condition with a very small restauration on the center hole! Old bulls eye glass looks perfect! Both cases are not identical but it’s a perfect fit. The inner case has hallmarks for Birmingham 1864 and the outer case for London 1858. Cases are solid sterling silver, hand polished and looking great. Original old glasgow James Forrest watchpaper and fitting key are included. A superb addition to each valuable collection.
