AMEZ-DROZ 18s with a “WARRENTED COIN SILVER” DOUBLE HUNTER CASE. Overall Weight = 122 grams. Case OD = 55.66mm. Watch Face = 44.27mm. ID of rear case opening = 43.74mm. Movement locks in thru the front and I have not taken it apart. I have included an old bench key to go with the watch, it runs great when wound. Heavy “Warranted Coin Silver” Case. Case Snaps shut and opens nicely. Rear Key wind and time set. All hands move (Hour, Minute, Second) when wound. Cannot set the time, the stem for setting the time has snapped off at its base and will need to be replaced. If you look at the photos it would be the stem protruding from the center of the movement. Double hunter cases are generally the most desirable, and most costly, pocket watch case type. They have a hinged crystal cover as well as a hinged case back, often with an additional hinged dust cover beneath. Great looking Illinois Bunn Special Type 111 marked 60 Hour 21J 16S Railroad Pocket Watch Runs strong and keeps time. A very nice example of one of Illinoiss highest grade railroad Pocket Watch with gold jewel settings train and timing screws. Watch is marked 60 hour adjusted temperature and six positions. This was one of the highest grade Illinois watches they made for the railroad trade in 23 jewel. Dial is near mint and an original double sunk dial that is fully marked with no hairlines. Case is an original keystone model 28 Gold Filled marked Bunn Special Case. Case has some wear but looks good with very little visible brass except a hard to see ring on back. Movement runs good and watch sets and winds correctly. Bold black lettering and beautiful damaskeened plates and looks in very nice shape. A stunning railroad watch.
