Open face pocket watch. Winds up and ticking, lever set works properly. I set the time before bed and it was off by several hours this morning. When you wind it up, there is no stopping point. You can literally wind forever. Small crack in the dial as shown. Hard to judge the price, feel free to make offer.
This antique American Waltham Watch Co. Pocket watch is a stunning piece of history dating back to the 1880s. The watch features a silver case with a polished finish and a snap caseback. The dial is white with Roman numerals, and the watch has 17 jewels and a railroad grade style. This pocket watch is in running condition at the time of listing (with a few stops now and again), though it has been neither serviced nor cleaned, so continued working condition not guaranteed. It is a manual mechanical movement with a multi-dial and seconds hand feature. The watch is handmade with an open face design and is a must-have for any antique watch lover. Waltham Chronograph 14s 1886 pocket watch in coin silver case running but a bit sluggish. Probably hasn’t been cleaned and oiled for some time. Dial is very nice no chips or cracks that I can see. Dust cover hing is broken but snaps on and off securely. Front cover operates properly with good spring action. I think crystal is plastic. Back cover closes as normal but takes very little to open. Stays closed when held back facing down.
Nice nickel alloy case. Missing the regulator spring. Watch is over 100 years old so it is not perfect but seems to function as it should and is running and keeping time.

Here I have for sale a nice 1904 16s Elgin 290 pocket Watch with a 14 kt Philadelphia Case. Watch Runs upon winding it does not need any bumping or thumping to get it running, and it stays running. It shows some wear here and there but over all its in nice condition. The dial has no cracks or chips. Watch is missing the crystal.
