This is for a vintage open face Waltham Riverside pocket watch. It is a 19 jewel, adjusted to 5 position and marked Waltham. Dial looks good with no chips or cracks. Wadsworth, 20yr warranted case. I believe it is a 12 size. If you need more information or photos, I’ll do my best to accommodate. I would suggest a cleaning as it has been stored for a long time. Circa 1919 Waltham Riverside Model 1894 Pocket Watch 12 size 19 Jewel Gold filled Wadsworth Pilot case has been in my family for many years. On the back runs well and accurate. Face has some discoloration as shown, I have not tried to clean it beyond using a small brush on the face. Crystal is clean and clear.

Scarce early 16 Size Waltham Riverside Pocket Watch circa mid-late 1880′s. A fairly low production model and not many survive from this period, it’s over 130 years old. Model 1872, 15 Jewels, Pendant Wind, Lever Set. In an also rare signed A. Coin edge solid Coin Silver case which is somewhat unique. The movement does not secure itself to the case in the common manner later 16 size movements do. Look closely and you will see no movement screws. Also the set lever is a broader style requiring a rather large cutout in the bezel. An interesting early design. The watch has a b. Eautiful dial with black Roman Numeral Hour Numbers and red Five Minute Numbers. Attractive “Moon” hour and minute hands. Nice thick glass crystal. It winds and sets properly. I checked the timekeeping over a few days, some days it ran well and was accurate. Other days it would stop entirely, or lose time. Assume the movement is past due for a routine cleaning, that will be left to the new owner. This watch came from a large collection of vintage and antique pocket watches, it’s history is unknown. 1940 WALTHAM Riverside Premier 21 Jewels 16s POCKET WATCH 10k GF Case SERVICED! Riverside 21 jewel 16 size open face, Winds, lever set and running strong and keeping time. Serviced as of 2/10/22. The dial is showing a few light hairline, single sunk with Arabic numerals. Has beautiful set of Cobalt Blue spade and whip steel hands. Clear Crystal and a nice 10K Gold Filled Case made by Illinois Watch. The case is showing small pinhead dings on the case body and pocket scratches with one small dimple on the case back, nice crown and the bow is tight. Antique Waltham Riverside 14K Gold Fancy Case Open Face 17 Jewel Watch Running. This beautiful 14K yellow gold Waltham watch is in crisp and excellent condition and is very elaborately engraved on the back and sides of the case as well as the bezel. Dating to circa 1910 (please see full details below) and in running condition, the watch has a clean, bright white dial with nicely stylized black Arabic hour numbers, small red minute numbers, a sub-second hand and strikingly textural engraving patterns on the bezel and case-side. The back has a finely engraved foliate pattern around a fancy, three-letter monogram on the outside of the cover, A. 14K 174536″ on the inside of the cover, a dust cover with, “From Grandma, Nov. 4, 1915″ engraved on the outside and “174536″ on the inside, and a movement engraved with “A. 17 Jewels, ” “Riverside” and the serial number “18013274. In excellent condition, the watch runs without stopping but hasn’t been tested for long-term accuracy, measures 1 3/8 x 1 15/16-inches overall and weighs 35.5 grams.
