Pocket Watch Case

Grade 1621 (size 16 / 21 jewels) from 1937. Waltham Riverside with some dial issues as shown in pictures but otherwise a lovely watch in a gold-filled case. Crystals are clear, case is in fantastic shape, dial wears its age well. I have other watches for sale as well.

Vintage American Waltham Watch Co. 16s hunter pocket watch with a good quality Model 1888 Riverside 17 jewel movement. The movement has an estimated production date of 1896 -1899. It has a beautiful gold filled coin edge hunter case marked Fahys 14K Monarch on the inside surface of the dust cover. This watch looks great overall with a few minor signs of age age prior use including a very light patina in a section of the outer track on the dial and a very small fine scratch on the dial between the 11 and 12 positions. There is a small notch (see photo) on the edge of the inside dust cover that looks like someone probably performed a gold test at some point. There is also a light impression on the top edge of the back cover from the bow. The movement has been running and keeping time for over 24 hours but is approximately 2 minutes slow and will need to be serviced for accuracy.

This Pocket Watch Lot Includes an 1892-93 Model 1888 Antique WALTHAM Riverside, S/N 5719468, Size 16, 15 Jewels Pocket Watch. The Case Back Cover has Wadworth… It is Wound Tight and Not Running. The Fancy Dial has Hairline Cracks. The Other Pocket Watch for Parts is Unmarked but has Numbers 589 and 433589 on the Side in Back of the Dial. This is for a vintage open face Waltham Riverside pocket watch. It is a 19 jewel, adjusted to 5 position and marked Waltham. Dial looks good with no chips or cracks. Wadsworth, 20yr warranted case. I believe it is a 12 size. If you need more information or photos, I’ll do my best to accommodate. I would suggest a cleaning as it has been stored for a long time. Circa 1919 Waltham Riverside Model 1894 Pocket Watch 12 size 19 Jewel Gold filled Wadsworth Pilot case has been in my family for many years. On the back runs well and accurate. Face has some discoloration as shown, I have not tried to clean it beyond using a small brush on the face. Crystal is clean and clear.
