This rare 1864 Civil War pocket watch by Waltham features a mechanical (manual) movement with Roman numerals on the indices. The product is a rare genuine original Cortebert wristwatch pocket watch wooden box case. Low production of 3800 made.. One hand is broken off inside. When tested watch winds up and does run, watch stem seems to but not fitting too well, makes cracking noise when winding, tested it for 30 minutes and ran nicely… Will need a new stem.

Good overall condition – missing crown piece. Some wear along front bezel, bow and crown. Nice pinstripes on back with blank monogram space. Brookline Guaranteed 14K Gold Filled.
