A nice Omega pocket watch in good working order, housed in a nice silver case with a Dover retailer address. The case is silver and carries the Omega logo, 0.935 for Swiss-grade silver which is slightly higher than Sterling (0.925). It carries the retailer name and address on the inner cover: S Highley, Market Square, Dover. The double back and bezel and fit well and close neatly. It is about 47mm in diameter. The crystal is clear acrylic and probably new. The dial is in excellent condition and I see no chips, cracks or even hairlines. All hands are present in correct style. The movement is a typical Omega movement of the period, looks to be a 7-jewel version. And it winds, sets and runs very well keeping very respectable time. A lovely silver Omega watch in good cosmetic condition, and running and keeping time too. Attractively priced and although I have allowed for a best offer facility, offers would need to be very close to the asking price to even be considered. I may not consider offers at all. Alternatively, collection is possible at a mutually convenient date and time from Shrivenham, just east of Swindon, Wiltshire. Vintage Gold Plated “Half Hunter” Pocket Watch 1930′s – Cased. The photographs are of the actual item and an accurate reflection of its Very Good Condition. This is a Very Clean, Vintage, Gold Plated Z. Barraclough & Sons Ltd ” Gold Plated “Half Hunter Zenith Pocket Watch. The Swiss Made “Zenith” Movement is Number 2768150. The Dennison Star Gold Plated Case is Number 969397. This beautiful Pocket Watch winds-up fully on a good strong spring and will run until re-winding is required. The Movement is very clean and runs smoothly. It keeps good time with just some fine adjustment possibly required. Remains in Very Good Condition and without any hairline cracks or damage. It is enhanced by the Fine Black Roman Numerals and a separate smaller Second Hand Dial. The Gold Plated “Half Hunter” Case is also in Very Good Condition. Opens as the crown is pressed downwards. Open & close accurately and firmly on a good hinge. It remains without bumps or damage. Both Lenses remain intact. The Inner Back Cover bears a Presentation Engraving (as seen in the photographs). Very minor scuff marks are evident to the watch case. The Original Barraclough & Sons, Leeds Presentation Case also remains in Very Good Condition. The lid opens and closes on a good hinge and clicks firmly into the correct position when shut. Minor storage marks are evident to the case. This superb Pocket watch has had only very limited use. The back cover is marked to the inside W&D (Wilsdorf and Davis). With Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1925 ALD and the number 490433. The movement cover is marked to the inside Dennison Watch Case Co Ltd Regular ALD Lion and date letter A. It is button wind and set. The dial and dial glass are clean and clear and free from any chips or cracks. The case is clean and bright and has worn as to its age with both the front and back covers closing down nice and tight. The silver pair cases both hallmarked London 1791. And with the case makers mark TG. The cases in good antique condition. Although the bow has been replaced a long time ago. With its winding key. In the outer case back are some watchmakers repair papers. Outer case diameter 52mm, 25mm thick over the glass. The watch works, it runs for a full 30 hours but runs fast.
