Rockford Watch Company 18 size, 24 jewel 900 pocket watch. Open face, nice box hinge case. Stem wind, lever set. Note that the watch is currently running strong, but likely could use a professional cleaning. Dial is in very good condition – see close up pictures. Case is in pretty nice shape. It shows signs of wear appropriate for age of piece, a couple of small dings on the edges, but not i. A nice box hinge case you don’t find every day. This is a desireable movement – 24 jewel Rockford watches are desireable. Manufacture date is 1905 – 115 years old. Pictures are the best description – look them over carefully please. Glass crystal with a bit scratches. Double sunken Montgomery porcelain dial with black Arabic numerals hour markers in mint condition. 23 Jewels stem wind lever set, highly damskeened nickel bridge movement signed, Hamilton Watch Co. And 6 Positions, Serial numbers S20467 date this watch 1951. Here the best part of this watch! Model A 10Kt yellow gold filled case, no dings or dents, a bit wear and minor scratches. Bow is nice and tight. Overall completely serviced watch, excellent running and keeping a great time! But it’s in safety box for a while and may need service soon.
