Hello, this listing is for an awesome and Rare. 829 Pair Case Sterling Chain Drive Fusee Verge Pocket Watch by Bullingford, London #3454. There is a similar one in the Museums Victoria Collections. This is offered for restoration – Item currently not running-Chain intact and fully wound around the Fusee. Balance appears to be okay- needs restoration – cleaning servicing etc. This Men’s watch measures approx. 56.5mm across the outer case. This is the way I received it outer case and all. Outer case is a bit loose on the inner case but looks and works fine. Outer case is unmarked and has dents and dings. Inner case has some dings but much better. Very high original Bulls Eye crystal in nice condition with some scratches as shown. Case hallmarked Birmingham 1829-see pictures. Round turned columns on the movement. Great find for the restored! Dial is very nice – original Gold color or possibly low karat Gold hands. Antique watch winding key included but not pictured. Total weight is approx. Really a great find. 1857 London Assay Sterling Pocket Key Winding Watch Case by James Oliver. I’ve had this pocket watch for a couple years now and now it’s time to let go of it. I don’t know a lot about pocket watches so please read carefully and I will describe it the best that I can. It does have damages to the dial wear and tear it is well over a hundred years old it’s missing it does not include a key however I have one that fits it and was able to wind it. It features a full hunter closure, 13 jewels, and a Roman numeral porcelain dial. The watch is made of polished silver and has a snap caseback. The anchor escapement and mechanical movement make it a unique piece for collectors. The watch is in need of repair and is not currently working. It does not come with original box/packaging, papers, or service records. This pocket watch is a great addition to any collection and is sure to impress. Don’t see many 13 jewel pocket watches out there.. Also this is a very low serial number.. It’s rather a large pocket watch.. Which according to the chart says it’s about a 20s.. So if you put this all together, you got 13 J , low serial number , and the size of the pocket watch.. I think it’s kind of rare. Nonworking order but I’m sure it can be repaired.

This is a Swiss made and Swiss hunter cased. Benson of Ludgate Hill London UK. The watch features a stem winding mechanism and a lever set on a “sidewinder” mounting. It is a size 16 and contains 15 jewels. The Swiss made watchcase is crafted from. 935 silver and is hallmarked appropriately. The watch is running nicely and keeps good time. The stem is somewhat loose, but setting and winding still function well. The watch face is flawless, with no chips, cracks or repairs. The Roman numeral Indices have all of their original color. Late 1700′s Jn Adamson. Antique Verge Fusee Pocket Watch Silver Case By Richard Grove, London. Work from 1794 to 1805. 48.85mm in Diameter and 26mm Thick. The case has some dents on the back that can be fixed by professional. Dial has no hairlines. The movements runs for a bit then stops. Original Key is included. Anstruther is a small town in Scotland, so the Watchmaker was probably. This watch may needs further research, so good luck.
