Elgin 0 size multi 14k US Assay Multi Colored solid gold hunting case is in mint condition with all the gold colors, pink, yellow, green, yellow, white gold. The Elgin movement is 7 jewels and running serial number 13,734,094 was made in 1908. Case measures 33.5 mm side to side. Weighs 31.9 grams with the movement. Movement is complete and so is the case. Just think someone had put this away never used for over 100 years so this is a real treasure. The case opens and closes nice and tight with no gaps. You will love this one. Superb Solid 14K Gold Ladies Hunting Case American Waltham Watch Co. The serial number dates it to 1902. Note the lovely engraved floral case, the cartouche has an MN monogram. Clean face, no cracks to the dial. Straight from a safe deposit box. The dial has no problems we can see. The case is superb… 14k solid yellow gold… Hinges are solid and work well… See photo of the inside of the back cover with the 14k mark. The watch is about 1 7/8″ tall and 1 5/16″ wide. The watch appears to run strongly. It started right up. We assume it will need a cleaning. We have not timed it. Stem set, works correctly. We have no service records. This neat old Elgin Pocket Watch is running as I write. The dial measures about 1 1/4 inches in diameter. The number on the movement is 13420394. The crystal is showing some scratching.
