Illinois pocket watch 17 jewel 12 size. Case is a Dueber Warranted 20 years gold filled. Case has some wear and some dings and scratches. The bow has some discoloration. Glass crystal is clean and may have some very slight scratches. Watch is a pin set in a lever set case and dial does have some wear and is a little dirty but has a sunken dial. I have up for sale a lovely antique circa 1900 give or take Illinois Watch Co TIGER Rolled Gold Plate Ladies Pendant Watch. Its just a gorgeous case and nicer yet comes with the original paper label for the “Tiger” case. The case measures approx a 36mm diameter and would definitely be considered a Ladies size watch but I will leave the for the individual to decide. Its a ornate case as you can see. The movement is LEVER SET Swiss made by the VALLON Watch Co. The movement ran for a half day, then I checked it later that evening and it stopped. The dial face is Excellent but the watch needs replacement hands as its missing the sub second hand and the minute/hour hands are damaged. The case is in Very Nice Original Condition – some modest wear on the back case but nothing significant. ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics. For your consideration we have an Elgin. 15 jewel 16 size. Movement with Illinois dial. This is a hunt pocket watch. Case is 20-year gold filled. Dial is in decent condition little dirty and has decent hands. It is a mismatch to the movement. Case has some slight wear and some very slight scratches and has engine turned engraving. The bow has some discoloration. The front cover does not open well, it needs a new cover spring. It has some discoloring on inside edge that can be cleaned up. Glass crystal is clean and clear. Watch is a pendant. Model 6 grade 152 Estimated year is 1897 run quantity is 1000. Front cover also has some initials engraved. Watch is in running order but do recommend having serviced and cleaned. Stem wind and level set. Adjusted to 6 Positions &. Dial: White Porcelain, double sunken dial, many. Hairlines, one tiny chip near level set. Crystal is in fair condition many fine scratches. Case: open face case. The bow is nice and tight. The case shows normal pocket wear. Both front & back covers screw on and off easily with a good seal. Inside of back cover: It says, “Defiance”.
