This is a Fabulous c1904 Elgin Full Hunter Case Pocket Watch. It is grade 320, Model 2, 7 jewel, size 0s. It is marked Elgin. This Pocket Watch has the sub second hand, and Roman Numerals along with the five minute makers. The case has great design and minimal wear for its age. The inside case numbers are 8195925, it says Fahya Montauk, Guaranteed 20 years and has a symbol on it – see photos. It is also engraved with the name Marie Lane in the inside. In the interior movement area it reads Elgin National Watch Co. USA, serial # 10921271. The crystal has just been replaced and face of this wonderful time piece is in great condition. This pocket watch is WORKING ALL THE WAY! Watches are very collectible and can be a great addition to a collection. Offered for sale is an antique Elgin National Watch Co. Pocket watch, made in USA ca. This is a 16-size watch, and measures approximately 50mm (2) diameter. This watch features a yellow gold filled hunting case with an engine turned design and a blank cartouche on the front, a 17-jewel Grade 386 stem-wind stem-set movement, and comes with a white double sunk dial with black Arabic numerals and b lue steel spade hands. The case is in very good condition, showing signs of normal pocket carry and some very light brassing (not noticeable unless you look very closely). The dial is in excellent condition, showing no visible cracks or chips. The movement runs and keeps excellent time. Rare Massive 58.5mm 1878 18′s 177grams (nearly 6 Troy Ounces) Elgin Advance Hunting Case Key Wind and Key Set (on the dial side) Pocket Watch. In clean working order. On the inside of the back cover there is a lot of lightly scratch marks-notes as shown. Watch is in working order but timing may be necessary. Serial number dates it to approx. 1878 and it is marked ass then Advance model as pictured. It is 11 jewel m model 1, grade 13, class 5. Case Material– Coin Silver. Movement Type–Manual Wind – key wind and set. Dial Condition– Very nice with slight age use imperfection as pictured. Great original hands as shown. Case Condition– Nice with imperfections -see above and a slight ding as pictured. Case Size– see above. Special Features — Massive size! Comes with a non-original winding key as shown. Please be advised that we have no service record of any of the watches (unless noted above) from these estates and that cleaning, oiling and general servicing is recommended and more than likely required. Please be advised that any watch with a screw back will not be tightened completely and a new or replacement gasket will be needed. Any snap back type will be closed but a gasket will also be needed. These tasks will need to be done by the customer. These are estate items and are being offered in as-found condition. End of the 19th century, Weller and DuBois or Wilsdorf &Davis – not very sure which. Decor of horses and castle. Not functional, might need to be oiled and serviced.
