Pocket Watch Case

This neat old pocket watch is running as I write. The case is marked coin and does have some small dings. The dial measures about. 1 3/4 inches in diameter. The serial number on the movement is 414287. Please see the pictures posted and my store for many more great items.

Offered here is a lovely and fully functional antique Elgin pocket watch, made in 1907 in Elgin, Illinois. This is a Grade 354 movement in the smaller 0-size, ideal for vest wear or as a collector’s display piece. It features a 15-jewel, screw-set movement housed in a detailed gold-filled hunting case. Configuration: Hunting (crown at 3 o’clock). Estimated Production Year: 1907. Total Grade Production: 274,000. Run Quantity: 1,000. Case: Gold-filled “Guaranteed Twenty Years” hunting case. Dial: White enamel with Roman numerals and red outer minute markers. Design: Ornately engraved front and back with floral and scroll patterns. Watch is running and keeping time. Case has expected wear from age but no major damage. Dial has small age spots but is intact. Cover and hinges function well. This elegant piece of horological history makes an excellent gift or addition to any antique watch collection.

I wound a few times and all hands move and it kept time for the 45 minutes or so that I had it out to list. I didn’t want to ever wind.

This is a nice antique Dueber 20 Year pocket watch case 10k gold filled with a nice incert. The incert is marked Charles Gilmore Kenton, O. I was not ablw to find much on this watch maker other then he possibleworked for the Illinois Watch Company. I wound the mavement and it began working and ticking, I stoped and dis not wind further. Vintage Antique American Waltham 1893 Gold Fill Hunting Case Pocket Watch C3980. Here is an American Waltham gold filled O size pendant watch serial #5573388, made in 1893. The movement is a gold guilt 7 jewel model that looks really cool. The watch is 34.8 millimeters or about 1 5 /8 inches across the front of the watchcase. There is an art nouveau dove engraving on the back of the watchcase. The mechanical (winding type) watch winds, is fully wound, tries to run and stops so it does not run. It does continue to run when I put winding pressure on the winding stem telling me it can be fixed. I see moderate wear from use on the case and it does look pretty cool.. We sell these items as they are and as you see them with some dirt, minor marks or minor damage from use (as is). Please look over the pics.
