FROM THE ESTATE OF A LONG TIME POCKET WATCH COLLECTOR! A beautiful antique, size 18s Hamilton Watch Co. Railroad Grade pocket watch. Watch Grade is 936 w/17 jewel, lever set movement with sapphire jewels. This watch has a Full Plate, openface movement with gold screw-set jewel settings, and gilt movement inlay. Movement has a nickel finish with damaskeened pattern. The double roller movement has a Breguet hairspring, a Goldthwait regulator and adjusts to temperature and five positions This watch has a clean, bright white double-sunk dial, with a second hand register and fancy Arabic numerals and is marked “Hamilton Watch Co”. Dial has one apparent hairline running from dial edge at 45 over to center sunk edge. Spade hour and minute Hands have a gorgeous azure blue finish. The watch was manufactured circa 1907 with movement Serial Number: 536790. The movement appears super clean and watch keeps very good time. Bow is tight and watch winds and sets easily. Watch is encased in a Crescent Watch Case Warranted 25 year Gold Filled screw bezel and hinged movement case. Die engraved case back has been engraved in the past with the initials AAS. Acrylic crystal looks to be in nice condition with a few scratches. Watch measures 55 mm in diameter X 79 mm long (at bow) X 17.5 mm thick (crystal included). This very nice antique Hamilton Railroad Watch is in excellent working condition, with many years of trouble-free service remaining. Watch has not been timed for accuracy and current state of operation and/or running can not be guaranteed as items are used and have not been mechanically serviced. HAMILTON 992 Railroad Grade B & B 20 Year GF CASE MENS POCKET WATCH. 2 nd pattern damaskeened. Beautiful, strong running watch. Case is used but not showing any brass.

992B w/Model 9 Case. 16 size 21 jewel open face lever-set Grade 992B pocket watch. An attractive example which is highlighted by a scarce Hamilton Model 9 gold-filled factory case. This Model 9 case style was made by Star Watch Case Co. For Hamilton in the 1940s and was not well known to the collecting community until an example with original box was discovered a few years ago that identified the style as Model 9. Interestingly the Model 9 number had previously been used by Hamilton for a different case style made in the 1920s/30s by Fahys which is also rare. Movement is nicely finished with gold jewel settings, gold balance screws, gold center, striped pattern nickel damaskeen, and an Elinvar balance assembly. Dial is sunk-seconds enamel. Movement serial number is C58924. Running and a nice looking movement with excellent color and luster. Dial is beautiful with only a few mild glaze scratches within its seconds-register. Case is attractive with a strong in hand look and feel but is showing light wear with some very narrow slivers of wear to brass to its band.
