One side has an old mine cut diamond in the center. We estimate the weight of the diamond to be approximately 0.02ct. It is ornately engraved and is free from monograms. The stem set and wound movement is size 0s and has 7 jewels. The serial number dates the watch to around 1903. It is stamped 14k US Assay. Weight : 33.7 grams. Dimensions : The case measures approximately 33mm in diameter, and the dial measures approximately 26mm in diameter. Condition : This watch is in near pristine condition with very minor scuffs and scratches to the metal. The crystal has very minor scuffs and the dial shows virtually no signs of wear. BEST ORNATE SOLID 14K 18S FULL HUNTER CASE AMERICAN WALTHAM POCKET WATCH Here we are offering a truly stunning American Waltham full hunter pocket watch. 18S, serial number 10459189, produced in 1901, stem wind, lever set, 15 jewel movement. As beautiful as the engine turned decoration is on this movement, it is the solid 14K gold case that is the stand-out. It is comprised of a combination of yellow and rose gold decoration with a flower basket on one side and a vacant cartouche on the other. Other regions are all profusely engraved with tight scrolling designs. The hinge area and shoulders are beefy and impressive, which really balances out the overall appearance. The front cover springs open as it should when the crown is depressed. Please note that although the case is solid 14K, the bow and possibly the winding crown are plated. Also note that the porcelain face does have several tight hairline cracks that appear stable and show no evidence of chipping or loss. This is a visually stunning timepiece that is in excellent working order and keeps great time. As soon as you begin twisting the crown the balance wheel immediately comes to life. For your consideration is this original antique Elgin pocket watch in 18K gold case. Made in 1887, Model 1, Class 52, Size 8, 11 Jewels, Lever Set, 3/4 plate. Full hunter case with fancy engraving. Co with an 18 marking, along with a pseudo eagle hallmark. Very fine case and easily flexible. Fine engraving on both sides, the front has the name IDA in a shield. There is a tarnish on the front, it looks like a price tag had been affixed to that spot and the color is different from the rest. The back side is finely engraved and in excellent condition. The dial is marked Jacot Geneve and is heavily engraved with a bird at the center. The crystal is clear and all hands are present. The watch winds easily and does run, but seems to want to stop when moved around. It will likely need some small adjustments to be a nice runner. Including the movement, the watch weighs 56.7g on my gram scale. A great antique watch to add to any collection! This will be an excellent chance to own some rare and desirable items. For your consideration is this original antique Elgin pocket watch in a beautifully engraved solid 18K gold full hunter case. The movement is marked serial number 450400, which was produced in 1876. Grade 53, Model 1, Class 48. This is a size 10 with 7 jewels. Key wind, 3/4 plate, going barrel, quick train, plain regulator. The case is marked K18 on the inside of the outer cover, and also marked A. Solid 18K gold case made by the American Waltham Company. The inside of the dust cover is also marked 18K with the matching serial number of 61113. The case is rather stunning and beautifully engraved. The front features a cupid with wings atop a floral decoration with a shield in the center. The back features a similarly engraved scene with cupid on the top, only this time there is a fine country home shown at center. Very clean and bright with full detail. Tough to find them in better condition. The watch weighs 70.7g on my gram scale. The case opens freely by pushing on top of the crown. The dial is clearly marked with the Elgin logo, and the porcelain is in EX condition with no chips or cracks. All hands are present, and the crystal is also in EX condition with only very fine marks. The watch winds and sets easily, and has been keeping time and running well. No key is included but replacements can easily be found. Really a beautiful example in fine working condition!
