Waltham 1883 15j 18s Grade 81 Pocket Watch Hunters Case Working Excellent Petina. Plating is very worn but gives it an awesome look in my opinion.

Movement latch protrudes through the dial below the 6 very pretty fire gilded movement with fusee & chain with a verge escapement worm wheel set up under the main spring barrel signed Wm Bathe Bristol # 396 he is listed in my baillle’s circa 1751 inside the inner case looks to be hall marked for london 1755 bright mirror finished screws very fine filigree on the balance cock over the balance wheel perimeter key set from the front / key wind from the rear (if you need a key please ask:-) in good running order though i have not checked it for timekeeping a real pleasure to handle such a quality piece of antique mechanical art a wonderful example for the enthusiast to enjoy! About 48 mm diameter across the outer case shagreen covered & is in superb condition only damage to cover is at the pip to open the case all the pins are in place i thin the outer case is not solid gold though it is a gold color the inner case is solid gold 18k or better by my reckoning topped off by its original ribbed bow & twisty pendant 7 knuckles on the hinge for the front bezel clear glass bull’s eye crystal excellent deep blued steel beetle & poker hands classic english enamel dial with arabic 5 minute markers & roman numerals the dial is in very nice condition catch to swing out movement sticks out through the front of the dial at the bottom of the 6 sparkling fire gilt movement is signed matt hill london # 181 i have matt listed in my bailles from 1744 till 1790 & feel confident this is one of his earlier pieces due to several clues…. Such as the catch latch sticking out from the front & the worm wheel setup under the mainspring barrel lovely hand pierced & engraved balance cock with a floral edge & a bird of paradise? At the neck key set from the front / key wind from the rear the watch is in good running order running the full length of the chain but not checked for timekeeping considering the age of this watch it has been amazingly well cared for over the centuries & remains in fantastic overall condition quality throughout a beautiful pair cased london verge for the enthusiast to enjoy! 1915 Hampden, Canton Ohio U. 18 size, 17 jewels pendant wind set antique pocket watch in excellent looking & running condition. The watch was professionally serviced recently, runs strong and keeps good time. The serial number on the Model 3 full plate movement is 3034851 which dates it to 1915; it has 17 jewels, a micrometric regulator, a patented safety pinion, intricate damaskeening and fancy gold washed lettering. The original porcelain enameled single sunk dial is in good condition, has a small chip near the bottom. The deep blued steel hands are in excellent condition. The Keystone Watch Case Co. Polished Silveroid (nickel silver) case is in excellent original condition, no dents or monogram. The hinges are good and the covers shut tight. The brass bow and nickel plated crown are in very good original condition. The new old stock amber colored acrylic crystal is in fine condition. The case measures approximately 2-3/16 inches in diameter (not including the bow & crown) x 3/4 inch thick including the crystal. This is a nice restored antique timepiece for your collection and use, also makes an excellent gift! My pictures have many unavoidable shadows, reflections and some dust spots that will be cleaned; the watch looks fine in person!
