This Elgin pocket watch is a vintage piece that boasts a mechanical (manual) movement, 17 jewels, and features roman numerals and a 12-hour dial. Vintage 1888 Elgin Pocket Watch. Watch crystal is scratch-free. Running condition – after winding, will run all day, and keeps accurate time. Serial number is 3454658, which dates the watch to 1888. For more details about this watch there are websites where you can look up the serial number and it will; give you lots more data. This is a lever-set watch – to set the time, unscrew the crystal and pull out the lever (by the IV) (see last two photos). Do not pull out the crown, that may cause problems. 1887 Elgin Pocket Watch 17 Jewels w/ Hunter VICTORY Case. There are a couple of fine lines on the dial. I’m not sure how to pull out the pin to move the hands by hand but it’s ticking away and all hands are moving. Victory case, Philadelphia watch Company, warranted 10 years number 4187248. Elgin serial number 2342794 outer edge numbers are 04187248 adjusted safety pinion. Serial number, states production year of 1887 with a production of 5000. Very nice old watch not sure of the material? Looks gold or gold, but there are no marks.

Masonic 1926 Elgin Pocket Watch 16s 15j Model 7 Grade 313 Wadsworth Referee Openface Case – Works. Serial # 28874901 Wadsworth Referee gold fill openface case. Face, Hands in good condition. Case has some wear from years of love. The watch winds nice and works. It has been sitting for many years and could use a good cleaning. This piece comes from a late family member’s collection. It is in nice condition and running. Please note that when I say running condition the watch must start with 8 or 9 winds and run for hours. Please see photos for condition.
