THANK YOU for considering my 1953 Hamilton. Railroad Grade 992B Pocket Watch 21j, 16s OF. This watch sets, winds and keeps time with a strong steady tick. Movement: serial number C386431, Grade. Model 5, 21 jewels, Size 16. Stem wind and level set. Adjusted to 6 Positions & Temperature, Railroad Grade: Yes. Dial: White Porcelain, double sunken dial, a few hairlines & many. Crystal is in good condition. Case: open face case. The bow is nice and tight. The case shows light normal pocket wear. Both front & back covers screw on and off easily with a good seal. Inside of back cover: It says. PLEASE CAREFULLY LOOK BACK AT THE PICTURES. You will receive the exact item shown in the pictures, (all my pictures are originals). This is a Very Nice 16SZ, Hamilton 992B Railroad approved pocket watch, adj. 6 positions, in nice Gold Filled Open Face Case. Its a 21 jewels movement – just serviced, Runs good keeps good time. The #s on the movement are, c366327, made in 1950. This is a 71 year old watch, running very good, Its 51.5 mm. From side to side. The dial is very clean, has a no hairlines, you can see in the pictures. The crystal is very nice , light scratches only. The case looks great, nice , has a few small dings and dents, which is normal for this old of a watch. The back has some light scratches, its a stem wind, lever Set. Has a tight bow. This is a beautiful pocket watch, also another one out from my personal collection, I offer you a 1951 Hamilton 992B Railroad Pocket Watch 21j, lever set Crown and stem wind. Model 5, Adjusted to temp. And 6 positions, the movement was last. Serviced on Feb 20 2021. It is super clean, It Winds, Sets & Runs, keeps Excellent time, ticking strong. Housed in a nice 10K G. The bow is tight, both covers glide on/off smoothly and seals shut. The thick glass crystal is clear with some light scratches. The hands are Black Spade and whip in excellent condition. Both covers showing wear around the edges, slight ding on the left side of the case body, the top of the crown is worn some, the pattern on the edge of the bezel does not match the pattern of the case back. The bow is rose gold color the casing is yellow, this is not the original casing for this model. The beautiful double sunk boxcar dial with Bold Arabic Numerals and accompanied by the sub-dial at the 6 Oclock position. This dial is almost in mint condition, showing a faint hairline on top of 3 Oclock. Still, this is a very beautiful and presentable pocket watch with amazing Dead On accuracy! “M INTY” HAMILTON 992B RAILROAD GRADE POCKET WATCH. Because of my age I must sell watches in my collection. The 992B was the last Railroad Grade pocket watch designed by the Hamilton Watch Company. It took about 10 years, from 1931 to 1040, to complete the design. The first 992B from the new design was produced in 1940. Hamilton continued production of 992B’s for Railroad Service until they closed their doors in 1969. This marked the end of American made Railroad Grade pocket watches. This watch is a 1961, Model 5, 992B, 21 Jewels, Adjusted 6 Positions, with a Melamine 121 Heavy Gothic Double Sunk dial in a screw back and bezel Yellow Gold Filled Hamilton #17 case made by the Star Watch Case Company. The Model #17 case was introduced in 1957. This watch, movement SN C474967 was made in 1961. The movement was Produced, Cased and Timed at the Hamilton Watch Company in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The watch is in Excellent condition and keeps good time. I don’t know when it was last cleaned so to keep “Railroad Time” again it would need to be serviced.
