This is a beautiful example of the Sangamo 23 Jewels Two Tone hunter case railroad grade pocket watch. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer example. Gorgeous two tone movement and clamshell finish style hunter case. Case is super sharp with a very low level of use. This watch has been babied. Zero brassing or major nicks on the case. Hinges in great shape and open to 90 degrees. A super nice original dial. The watch is running and keeping time but amplitude is a bit low. I will leave service up to the next owner if they choose. If you are purchasing a watch band or part, it is your responsibility to ensure that the sizing is correct for your watch. These 21 jewel “Santa Fe Route” watches back in the day were made from a Grade 806 movement which is a very high quality movement. They are Railroad approve at Class G. They weren’t for full Railroad use due to only being adjusted to 3 positions. Case: Illinois “Salesman Display” case with snap off bezels. Outside D : 52 mm. Illinois size 18 gold filled Hunter Case Pocket Watch 1889. Is in good condition and running strong. Gold filled case, with some minor brassing. 7 jewels lever set movement #984539. Manual wind lever set. Running strong keeping time. Good condition, with some minor brassing. [Mint] Item has never been used. Excellent Item is like new with very slight signs of use. Very Good Item have some minor signs of previous used but is in great condition without heavy scratches, wear or mechanical issues, may have some fine surface scratches. Good Item has slight surface scratches or slight wear, but looks great. Fair Item shows scratches or weir that is visible. Poor Item is not in perfect working order or damaged. For Parts or Repairs Item cannot be used as-is. Repair needed or used as parts.

Walker of Cleveland, Ohio. Watch is in excellent shape for its age. Running strong and keeping good time. Original double sunk dial is in excellent shape. Very clean fancy hunter case. Front and back hinges open to 90 degrees. Case lid spring is in shape and lid opens as it should. Initials are engraved on the front.
