Open face pocket watch. Winds up and ticking, lever set works properly. I set the time before bed and it was off by several hours this morning. When you wind it up, there is no stopping point. For your consideration scarce Elgin Father Time Pocket Watch. Railroad grade, 21 Jewels, double roller, adjusted 5 positions. Safety barrel, gold center wheel. 16 Size, Circa -1917, S/N 20030272. Original crystal, 10k gold filled case by Fortune. Face have few minor hairlines – see image. In good condition the bow have some wear. Watch serviced and in perfect working order.

This recent Estate find is an ANTIQUE 1913 LADIES POCKET WATCH in 14K YELLOW GOLD by ELGIN with details below. 14K Gold Filled Yellow Gold Case. 7 Jewel (Ruby Balance). Philadelphia Watch Case Co. Beautiful Design on Case with both Polished and Matte effects – (Very Clean). Pocket watch is in Excellent overall condition with some expected, but minimal aging and use/carry wear. Runs Good and keeps Good Time (+/- 1 minute). We are not sure of its last service and always suggest one when not knowing. Please see condition description and all pictures.

Serial Number – 13800815. Movement – 15 jewel mechanical wind. Composition – 20-year Gold filled The Philadelphia Watch Case Co.. There are also 5 diamonds on the back. Case measurement – 36.3 mm. Condition- Running and it is 1-minute fast on a 24-hour test. Dial has a hairline between the 4 and 5, Crystal is very good, Bow and Crown are good, Case looks nice, Hands are very good. Winds and sets time easily. Info – I have timed many of the watches, but you must know that when these watches travel in the Post Office sometimes, they are bumped a lot. That timing may change. Here is a freshly serviced 1906 Elgin 18S gilt stem set and wind movement. It’s been keeping within a minute or so for the last 3 weeks. The white dial has a mark around the 3-4. Hands are straight and nicely blued still. The bow stands up firm. The crown appears to be new old stock. There is a new old stock mineral glass crystal installed. It has a small edge chips in it that’s almost unnoticeable. The front cover is very finicky but it goes. Goes easier with a rubber grip.
