Antique Elgin Gold Filled Hunting Case Pocket Watch C3987. Here is a nice-looking gold-filled pocket watch from 1904, serial #10593423. This watch movement is a 7 jewel 6s size watch movement in a beautiful 16-size gold-filled Victorian style hunting case. There is a liner inside the watchcase that allows different size movements to be used in this case. The watchcase is 46 millimeter or just over 1 3 /4 inches across the front of the watch. This is a 20-year gold filled hunting case that has 3 hinged openings with the stem position being at 3 o’clock. This watch shows lite use. All 3 openings are nice and tight which they should be for a watch that was carried but not opened much. The front dial cover does not close like it should so you will want to get that fixed and have the watch serviced. The mechanical (winding type) (120) year old watch winds continuously, tries to run for a little then stops. So, the watch does not run. Antique ULYSSE NARDIN Sterling Silver (0.900) Hunter Case Pocket Watch with Porcelain Dial. Movement : Manual (hand-winding) stem. Nardin, Locle & Geneve. Black Arabic hour numerals. Subsidiary dial for seconds at 6 o’clock. Sterling silver (0.900), with engine turned ornamentation on front and back. Crown and pendant bow at 3 o’clock. Acrylic crystal protecting the watch dial. Hinged dustproof cover signed, and showing several medals from European Grand Prix. All covers signed, and showing engraved serial numeral: 343812, and sterling silver hallmarks. Dimension : 50 millimeters diameter. Condition : Very good overall and working. Engine turned ornamentation has been well preserved through the years, but please check some scratches and dents on case (mainly on back). Covers and hinges are working properly. Dial is very good, showing just a couple of very slight hairlines at 4 o’clock. Movement is running strong (please check the larger photographs and video for details).
