Antique JAMES E BONNET, a watchmaker from NEUCHATEL Switzerland, 19th century. Silver full hunter case ornately designed on front side and backside. This key wind case is marked number 5315. DETACHED LEVER, a sidewinder. Currently in very good running condition. Has not been tested for time accuracy, case shows slight wear due to age, overall very nice condition with key.
This is a good looking watch that needs some tuning up. It is a gold plate that shows the case as brass with a gleam. Also there is a spot of corrosion at 2 o’clock from being stored, sitting in a box for a while. It is missing it’s crystal and has no second hand. However, the pin for the second hand is there. Also the face is in very nice condition with no chips or cracks. The watch has been running the full time I have described this, though it was not when I opened the case.
