Vintage Antique Elgin 14K GF Hunting Case 1921 Pocket Watch Runs ETC10302. Here is a Very nice Elgin 16 size 14K gold filled hunting case type Pocket Watch, serial #23365463. This is a model 6 grade 386 3 /4 plate 17 Ruby and Sapphire jewel stem set nickel movement. The watch is large (about 2 two inches across) and has 2 flip open covers to protect the watch while doing tasks such as hunting hence the term “hunting case watch”. The overall Condition is excellent with very moderate wear from being carried. The case has a basket weave design over a floral background engraved on the (2) protective covers. I see a small hairline in the watch dial between 1 and 2 thru 7 near the edge. It is common with these old watches and does not affect the performance of the watch. The mechanical (winding type) (103) year old watch winds, runs and keeps accurate time over the 24 hours I timed it..
