Outside Diameter: 55.8mm. Inside Diameter/Movement Diameter: 44mm. Ok, overall condition for its age. There are scratches on the case. There is discoloration on the crystal. The crown is worn. I think the crystal bezel is not original. It is missing the crystal. The hunter lid functions correctly, but it doesn’t swing out as far as it should. Please be aware that these are vintage or antique watches, they will not be perfect nor keep perfect time even when serviced. Antique Elgin Pocket Watch in Keystone Crown + Scales Case Double Hunter. The watch runs, but the hands are bent and catch on each other, stopping them from advancing. The face is also damaged and the crystal is missing. Case is very shiny and eye-catching. Beautiful details on it. The watch does have trouble staying closed. 2430408 serial on case. This is a great entry-level or everyday use watch. It weighs 109 grams. The unmonogrammed gold-plated case is in very good condition with some light superficial scratches on the front and back case. The front case also has a small convex dent near the crown and the back case has a small superficial near the base. The latch and lid springs work well and the front/back and dust covers close firmly and stay shut. The front cover opens to past 90 degrees without “wobbling”. The bow is firmly set and remains in place when moved. The 7-jewel movement works; however, its accuracy at keeping time has not been checked. It also sets easily and winds smoothly, but is a bit tight. The white dial is clean without cracks or blemishes, and has black hour, minute and second hands. The glass crystal is clear without scratches. Check out my other auctions. I never intentionally sell an item that is flawed, unless it is specified in the description or picture.
