The case fits size 16 movements (43.00 mm or 1.7 inches). The bezel and case back attached – snap on. The case is NOT pre-drilled for crown or pusher. Crown and pusher come together with the case. This is a working pair case pocket watch. Made in 1769 by Squire Murgatroyd. Movement is beautifully engraved, signed and has the date. I did try to find some history but i couldnt. All i found was this watch was serviced in halifax during the 1900s. Its possible i have mis spelled the name but i think im correct. Its solid silver and both the case and the watch is fully hallmarked. The watch is working and keeping time. As with all these watches i only ever half wind them, i dont like putting too much pressure on these fusee chains. The watch is currently sat here ticking away and keeping time on a two hour test. The watch measures 43mm. And the case itself measures 53mm side to side. Please view all pictures. Any questions please ask.
