Up for sale is an interesting sterling silver repousse English verge fusee pocketwatch with a fancy painted dial. The outer case is about 47mm in diameter. The repousse scene shows some wear. The porcelain dial has a wonderful painted scene. The dial has a few hairlines and a small chip on the number 25. The painted section is fine. The glass crystal is not high domed like it should be, and the cannon pinion has been shortened to accommodate the lower crystal. The movement is signed Wm Crayton London. The fusee movement runs for a while, and then stops. Due to the nature of verge movements, I cannot guarantee the accuracy of the watch or that the movement will run continuously. Verges tend to stop and start. Please view the photos and ask questions as needed. These charges are your responsibility and are between you and your government and do not involve me.
