Hamilton 992b watch in hamilton case. This is a very nice running Hamilton 992b. It has a beautiful dial, glass crystal, movement and model 7 case. The case is a factory hamilton case with some wear on outer edge of back. If it did not have the slight wear on back i would say this watch is in mint condition. SN c4719 which is one of the very early 992bs built about 1941. I have owned this watch for many years and carried it when I worked for the Missouri pacific railroad. It was serviced by a local watchmaker that was approved by the factory. This is the last watch that I had in my collection of 211 watches. I was going to keep it but decided at 82 years of age to let it go. I believe it is one of the most beautiful style cases that they built. I do my best to give a honest opinion of what I sell. This is a very attractive pocket watch. I was asked about the wear on back and I can tell you that if I had not mentioned it you would never see it. No brassing or any thing like that, It is not visionable period. On a scale of 1 to 100, I would rate this watch at 98. It has not had anything done to it in years but runs well and keeps good time. As with anything 80 years old, i can only guarantee you what I think and see. I forgot that it has a solid gold center wheel. It was like new but used when I bought it in 1956. I bought it with my first paycheck so you can see why I have held it to last. 4 7519 is the serial number very very low. T he serial number is very very low c47519. Silver pair case generally in good condition. All hinges ok, open and shut well. Also opening button working fine. Original hands in good condition. Original high domed glass in good condition. Original enamel dial in mint condition, no hairlines or cracks. Repeater movement in good condition. Watch working very well. Bell in good condition, no any crack. Bell ringing well when you press the bow, but sound is not good. I think hammers doesn’t touch the bell. Probably need to set bell little bit up or down. Otherwise there is no any fault. Watch comes with old antique key and silver chain. Outer case 54.6 mm without crown, 82.5 mm with bow and crown. 166 gram total weight with watch key and chain. PLEASE CHECK PICTURES FOR DETAIL.
