London signed 22k Gold Repoussé case spindle clock ca. Fine, rare Repoussé pair case made of 22k gold, very fine very high-chased repoussé technique. The relief shows the biblical dairy, Judas receives 30 silver coins from the high priests. The scenery is framed by very fine engraved, hammered and impassioned volutes as well as filigree foliage. Large, five-piece outer hinge. The case is signed “Peckruel”? Smooth inner case with case makers punch mark IW, and hard-to-read; English / London Hallmarks with Gothic letters, ie Cycle XV, from 1756 to 1775. Both cases are in excellent condition. Enamel dial with radial Roman hours, arabic minute track, original gilded Arrow & bow brass hands, small part missing at the minute hand, dial is in very good condition. Fire-gilt full-board , spindle lock, key hoist, signed Walker & Co. London, numbered 12689, screwed floral trim elements, chain / snail, square baluster pillar, three-armed steel bridge, fine floral engraved and perforated bridge bridge. The factory is in a nice state. Diameter 46mm, weight only watch 83g. Verge Fusee champleve dial Silver Pair Cased Pocket Watch. This is a lovely example of an early champleve dial pocket watch. It was made I’m between 1690 and 1700 and is all original and in working order. The case is made from silver and stamped with the silversmith “LD” we don’t know who that was as the silver records office burned down many years ago and all the records went with it. But the case its self is a pair case. Overall they are in good condition. This is a champleve dial and is totally original it has got the watchmakers name on the front (rodet) and where it was made (London). All the original wax is still in place and the dial has not been over rubbed. The watch still has its original hand as well which are made from pierced blue steel. This is an exceptional movement that is of the finest quality. It has Egyptian pillars and a verge escarpment. The parts are all original in the movement and the balance cock is lovely. The watch has recently been serviced and keeps fantastic time overall this is a lovely watch. The watch will come with a winding key. This unique watch is an antique WWI era pocket watch movement in a custom fabricated stainless steel wrist watch case. The case was custom made and hand crafted by a European master watchmaker in Budapest, Hungary. Free from any scratches or marks. Bezels and the lug bars are polished while the sides are brushed. Case measures 46mm in diameter. Again, case was not bought but machined from a solid block of stainless steel. Movement is freshly cleaned and fully functional. Dial is re-printed in satin black.
